"Cats" by Smokey Amber:
copyright 2000+

Cats are purrfect , cats are sweet,
Cats like to play wif mewr feet!

Cats rule , dogs drool,
in fact the cats joined a club called Ailurophilia which is cool!

Cats are smart, cats are neat,
which is something dogs can nefur beat!

"Ode to the Fuzzy Kitties" by Eddie:

Oh how we love the fuzzy kitties,
So cute, so lovable so fine.
Nothing less than purrfect they are,
Oh how we love our fuzzy kitties!

What would we do without these kitties?
There would be boredom and sorrow in everyone's' life.
Oh what joy these fuzzy kitties bring to us!
Everyone loves the fuzzy kitties! Thank goodness for fuzzy kitties!
Hooray!

A Poem by Playful:

Meowmie says I'm fuzzy
As fuzzy as can be.
She says she doesn't know any others,
Who are as fuzzy as me.

My friends all say I'm fuzzy,
And like me cause I am,
They haven't met any others,
That remind them of a lamb.

So everyone says I'm fuzzy,
Mean I'll nefur be,
And also cause I'm fuzzy,
Many cats wish that they were me!

A Poem by Ping:

There's two fuzzy kitties
Ones name is Ping and his classy
Lass named Sassy

Ping and Sassy are in love
Bonded together
Joined forever

Ping and Sassy will say
On this day in July
Their love is true
And no more will they be blue

A Poem submitted by Midnight H.:
**Writen by: Emily Dickinson**

She sights a bird-she chuckles-
She flattens-then she crawls-
She runs without the look of feet-
Her eyes increase to Balls-

Her Jaws stir-twitching-hungry-
Her Teeth can hardly stand-
She leaps, but Robin leaped the first-
Ah, Pussy, of the Sand,

The Hopes so juicy ripening-
You almost bathed your Tongue-
When Bliss disclosed a hundred Toes-
And fled with every one-

Midnight's Haiku

Soft, fluffy, purring
Black as night, glowing green eyes
Kitten in disguise

A Haiku by Bandit:

Little, grey, fuzzy,
Pouncing, bouncing, chasing mice
Baby Bandit's here.

A Haiku by Bandit:

Friendly, fuzzy, smart
Orange tabby, great big heart
Fonzi, our leader

"Smokey Amber" by Eddie:

Smokey Amber is beautiful
as effury one can see.
I feel so lucky that such a beautiful
cat is with me.
What would I do without
this beautiful cat?
I think I would
become very fat
because there would be
nobody else in this
world to love.
Smokey amber you
come from above!

"The Cat of Cats" submitted by Midnight H
**Written by William Brighty Rands**

I am the cat of cats.
I am the everlasting cat!

Cunning, and old, and sleek as jam,
The everlasting cat!

I hunt the vermin in the night-
The everlasting cat!
For I see best without the light-
The everlasting cat!

"The Hunt!" by Letty:

The swoosh of his tail,
The swipe of his paws,
The tense of his muscle,
He sharpens his claws.

The lunge of his body,
The gleam in his eye,
The flash of his fur,
A dove's muffled cry.

The bird in his mouth,
The stride in his bound,
He lays the dove gently,
Upon the ground.

The claws against wood,
The door opens wide,
The grace as he enters,
His heart full of pride.

A comforting purr,
As he lies on the bed,
The feel of a hand,
Caressing his head.

A Poem by Sebastian Pyewackle

Who can resist a fuzzy face?
A pink nose and whiskers,
a tail that tickles,
sandpaper kisses and pidder-padder paws.
Eyes that say, mew are my furriend.
Who can resist a kitten?

"Miranda" by Miranda:

There was a fuzzy kitty
Born one day in May.
She was itty bitty
She was thrown away.

Into a shelter they took her
Full of infection,worms and mites.
Malnourished and knotted fur
She really was a site.

Then along came Meowmie
And took one look at me.
She said she is the one
She came and nurtured me.

The vet said take her back,
she'll die as you can see.
Tears in her eyes she cuddled
This little bundle - me.

Meowmie said "Forget it!"
She's coming home with me.
I'm fuzzy, healthy, and happy.
With a great big family.
